After completing the cosmetology program at Aveda Institute Minneapolis in 2002, Rachel worked at an Aveda salon in the North Suburbs. She was able to attend many advanced classes, and finesse her skills in working with people and business. In 2004 she and her husband Billy got married and moved to Whitefish, Montana where she worked both as a hair stylist and the Artistic Director of a high end salon and spa company. Less than a year later, she was transferred to Bozeman where she continued educating staff and became an educator for Schwarzkopf Professional. Rachel has always prided herself in customer service, meeting needs that her guests didn’t even know they had. The transition from behind the chair to behind the desk has been a smooth one. Rachel started with the Jessie Tomme Salon in 2007 as the morning receptionist and couldn’t be happier. “I feel I have the best of both worlds, I get to assist guests and stay in this industry while using my business skills in helping Jessie and the girls achieve their goals. I simply couldn’t ask for more!”
